Für die konfokale Mikroskopie wird ein Zeiss LSM 510 META-
Mikroskopsystem verwendet. Dieses Instrument ist mit drei
Lasern (insgesamt sechs Wellenlängen) ausgerüstet. Eine
entsprechende Peripherie inklusive 3D-Dekonvolution und
Fotodrucker ist vorhanden.
Im Bereich der Video-verstärkten Fluoreszenzmikroskopie
wird eine digitale 3 Chip Farb CCD Kamera mit Peltierkühlung:
Hamamatsu ORCA 3 CCD, Typ C7780 eingesetzt.
Durch die 3 Farb CCDs, einem schnellen readout, hoher
Auflösung und sehr gutem S/N Verhältnis (4.13 Millionen
Pixel) wird die derzeit bestmögliche Farbwiedergabe erreicht.
Für die Bildverarbeitung wird die Imaging Software
der Fa. Compix, Inc. eingesetzt.
