In one of the most moving scenes Yaelle decide to take Aya's name, before they got married,
"as one step forward in cutting ties from her family", her original surname, David, is a typical
Sephardic name. After the divorce Yaelle went back to using her family name.

immigrated from Arab and Islamic countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle‐East, to Israel, where
