These evening concerts held in 1940‐1967 and known as “Gattiker‐house evenings for<br />

Contemporary music” was a platform for musicians and composers that were not famous yet.<br />

There is a book by Doris Lanz about it where the contribution of these evenings to 20th century<br />

contemporary music is discussed in detail.<br />

The program comprises of pieces for two pianos by Moeschinger, Mieg, Staempfli and<br />

Stravinsky.<br />
