South Carolina goes Saxony-Anhalt<br />

The joint project set by the Checkpoint Charlie Fo<strong>und</strong>ation, Berlin and the Ministry of Education of<br />

Saxony-Anhalt offers ways of cooperation and exchange between American students and German<br />

primary school teachers.For the fifth time American students get an opportunity to experience German<br />

culture and our educational system. They are invited to observe as well as to take part actively in<br />

everyday teaching and learning at a German primary school. German primary school teachers and<br />

classes will benefit from talks and common activities with native speakers of English. A German-<br />

American workshop will deal with cultural stu<strong>die</strong>s of both countries.<br />

Die Anmeldung zum ersten Termin bedingt auch <strong>die</strong> Teilnahme an allen weiteren Veranstaltungen.<br />
