<strong>RL78</strong>/<strong>D1A</strong> CHAPTER 2 PIN FUNCTIONS<br />

(h) RTC1HZ (P15)<br />

This is a real-time clock correction clock (1 Hz) output pin.<br />

(i) INTP0 (P17), INTP2 (P12), INTP4 (P10)<br />

These are the external interrupt request input pins for which the valid edge (rising edge, falling edge, or both<br />

rising and falling edges) can be specified.<br />

(j) INTPLR0 (P14), INTPLR1 (P11)<br />

These are the external interrupt request input for which the valid edge for LIN-UART0 and 1.<br />

(k) SEG22 (P16) to SEG25 (P13), SEG28 (P17) and SEG29 (P12) to SEG31(P10)<br />

These are the segment signal output pins for the LCD controller/driver.<br />

2.2.3 P20 to P27 (port2)<br />

48-pin products: P20 to P23 and P27 function as a 5-bit I/O.<br />

64-pin products: P20 to P23 and P27 function as a 5-bit I/O.<br />

80-pin products: P20 to P27 function as an 8-bit I/O port.<br />

100-pin products: P20 to P27 function as an 8-bit I/O port<br />

These pins also function as A/D converter analog input and reference voltage input.<br />

The following operation modes can be specified in 1-bit units.<br />

(1) Port mode<br />

48-pin products: P20 to P23 and P27 function as a 5-bit I/O.<br />

64-pin products: P20 to P23 and P27 function as a 5-bit I/O.<br />

80-pin products: P20 to P27 function as an 8-bit I/O port.<br />

100-pin products: P20 to P27 function as an 8-bit I/O port<br />

P20 to P27 can be set to input or output port in 1-bit units using port mode register 2 (PM2).<br />

(2) Control mode<br />

P20 to P27 function as A/D converter analog input and reference voltage input.<br />

(a) ANI0 (P20) to ANI7 (P27)<br />

These are the analog input pins (ANI0 to ANI7) of A/D converter.<br />

When using these pins as analog input pins, see 11.10 (5) Analog input (ANIn) pins.<br />

(b) AVREFP (P20)<br />

This is a pin that inputs the A/D converter reference potential (+ side).<br />

(c) AVREFM (P21)<br />

This is a pin that inputs the A/D converter reference potential (−side).<br />
