RL78/D1A CHAPTER 14 CAN CONTROLLER
(15) CAN module last in-pointer register (C0LIPT, C1LIPT)
The C0LIPT, C1LIPT register indicates the number of the message buffer in which a data frame or a remote
frame was last stored.
Figure 14-41. Format of CAN Module Last In-pointer Register (C0LIPT, C1LIPT)
Address: F05EEH (C0LIPT), F039EH (C1LIPT) After reset: Undefined R
LIPT7-LIPT0 Last In-Pointer Register (C0LIPT, C1LIPT)
0 to 15 When the C0LIPT, C1LIPT register is read, the contents of the element indexed by the
last in-pointer (LIPT) of the receive history list are read. These contents indicate the
number of the message buffer in which a data frame or a remote frame was last stored.
Remark The read value of the C0LIPT, C1LIPT register is undefined if a data frame or a remote
frame has never been stored in the message buffer. If the RHPM bit of the C0RGPT,
C1RGPT register is set to 1 after the CAN module has changed from the initialization
mode to an operation mode, therefore, the read value of the C0LIPT, C1LIPT register
is undefined.
