het linkerventrikel. De cardioloog documenteert het voorwandinfarct als doodsoorzaak.
Bespreking
Hartstilstand is hier nevendiagnose, omdat een onderliggende oorzaak is gedocumenteerd.
De doodsoorzaak in MZG is ditmaal het voorwandinfarct.

6.4.1. Opgave A
Een sportieve vrouw van 42 verliest plots het bewustzijn tijdens een fitnesssessie. Andere leden van de
club starten CPR en bellen om hulp. De MUG-arts diagnosticeert een hartstilstand.
De vrouw wordt naar het ziekenhuis overgebracht. De diagnose van elektromechanische dissociatie
wordt gesteld. De vrouw overlijdt 50 minuten later ondanks aanhoudende reanimatiepogingen.
Elektromechanische dissociatie wordt in het patiëntendossier opgetekend als doodsoorzaak.
Bespreking
Hartstilstand is hier nevendiagnose, omdat een onderliggende oorzaak is gedocumenteerd.
De doodsoorzaak staat duidelijk vermeld: elektromechanische dissociatie.
