It is obvious that this joint channel will gradually be watched morewith the dramas, documentaries, music and other programs produced inthe Türk republics. It is natural that in order for this joint channel to materializethe necessary infrastructure needs to be created.This infrastructure does not consist of the "Joint Broadcasting Council".In addition to this council, there is a needed for the establishment ofa Eurasian TV bureau. The responsibility of this bureau for the flow ofnews, and the creating of a forum that does program research and production.The Turk film, music, culture, art, and folk festivals and competitionsshould be held by means of some inions.Moreover, joint awards in the branches of journalism, poety, art andprofession should be considered within the framework of these activities.The project of connecting the Turk republics to the Internet viaTICA is continuing. In addition to this attempts have been made to establisha Turk world information bank and to transfer information betvveenthe Turk vvorld libraries and Universities. Hovvever, a concrete result hasnot been obtained from these projects. We hope that efforts vvill continuevvith the same eagemess and enthusiasm as at the onset.580
