Mr. AlevKdıç, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic ofTurkey to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.As I do not happen to be a historian or a scientist, I can notspeak about Kemal Atatürk and his achievements from thoseaspects.About the historical and scientifıc perspective of the place and roleof Kemal Atatürk, one of the greatest politicians of the 20th century, a lotof studies have been vvritten also in the country where I come from. Thelatest contribution to that inexhaustible subject has been made by anexpert in the Turkish language and literatüre Doc. Dr. MirjanaTeodosijevic in her paper about Atatürk covering ali that has been vvrittenin the Serbian language about the "Father of Turks". Her outstandingstudy entitled "Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the Yugoslav Public" has beenpublished, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the proclamation of theRepublic of Turkey, by the "NEA" publishing house, founded by theNevv Democracy Party.President, New Democracy Party, Belgrade.835
