see "Ring of Fire," last night on USA, it was great. I met Emile Griffith for
the 1st time in 1968. Over the years I have run into on many occassions. The
show presented him very accurately. You will be hard put to find a nicer person
than Emile. He has always been a decent and wonderful person.Read the
new book about Jim Braddock by Jeremy Schaap. The book was excellent. I found it
interesting and historically accurate. I would recommend it.|

(canale) (now with SKY I get Casa Keaton in English and it's just too cool to
miss ! The original version, with the true actor's voices !!!! I'm looking
forward to watch Rocky1-2-3-4-5 and The White Shadow in the original version...

a fighter Zucchero Ray was !!!!If he fought today he would beat Giovanni
"Sbadiglio" Ruiz easily. He was very quick, could take a good punch and could

verses Coolidge game and Russell was about an a inch and one half taller than
Warren was, 6'9.5" to 6'8." Some people think Goldstein and me are
twins, that we are the same person. What do you think?|

The White Shadow and I actually don't remember this Abner Goldstein very well !
But, if my memory serves me right, in the show there were only 2 black people
(Warren and Thorpe) while all the other guys were white. So, Abner and Thorpe
were hardly the same person.Gerry Schultz once told us that Coolidge
wasn't 6'8", but only 6'7", and that obviously devastated me ! I don't live in
Los Angeles, I actually never met Warren Coolidge in person.|

Thorpe and Goldstein, then I don't have a clue who Kareem really
is.Actually there were only two white guys and sometimes three, on the
white shadow team. Goldstein, an Italian American guy they called Salami, and
sometimes another white guy who was Salami's cousin from New York. The rest of
them were black so you are right, Goldstein and Thorpe are not the same

extremely hard for his fight with Kevin McBride. For the first time in years, he
is showing focus and determination. Yes, I know he is too old and will probably
never win the title again, but I expect an easy win this time at
least.Forest - Emile Griffith was a ring legend. I don't know much about
him personally, although his fight record speaks for itself. He came from a
wonderful era. Gil Clancy was involved in his management, I think.|
