P, please cut me some slack if I stepped over the line. Understand, I have been
taking abuse at this site for over two years now and most of the time I have
taken it in stride as I have tried to tell Massimo to do. But when I welcomed
you and I was put down for it, it was "the straw that broke the camels back!"
Understand, I say that all of the negative comments directed at me for all of
this time didn't get to me but they did bother me. But nothing hurts more than
you a reasonable person such as yourself, lumping me in with Koo Koo, etc. I try
to be a gentleman at all times but there are times when everone falls short of
this goal. Please don't judge me by one outburst because others on this board
who have been here for a while know I am a gentlman who has taken far than his
fair share of abuse that I don't deserve. I HEARBY APOLOGIZE TO ALMOST EVERYONE
ON THIS BOARD FOR MY POST I SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT MORE ABOUT BEFORE I SENT IT. IN
A WAY, I WISH I COULD APOLOGIZE TO KOO KOO BUT HE IS THE EXCEPTION BECAUSE HE
HAS DONE A HUNDRED TIMES MORE TO ME THAN I HAVE EVER DONE BACK TO HIM AND
EVERYONE HERE THAT HAS BEEN HERE ON THIS BOARD FOR A WHILE KNOWS
IT.Jerry was singing long before karaoke ever was around. He even sang
on television shows such as the Merv Griffin show where he did a fine rendition
of "By the Time I get to Phoenix." The song that was a hit by Glen
Campbell.|

Jerry's house in Cypress, he had a Jukebox, full of records, we used to try and
put money in it to hear him sing, but he wouldn't let us, cause he wanted to
sing for us instead. It was so great to hear him sing, he had such a great
voice, and his house was great, I remember the kitchen had red cabinets, he had
a room with his plaques, and trophies, and bear rug, he even had an Organ, and
yes there was a pool, I remember seeing them jump from second floor into pool,
and thinkin that was cool. As I look back on this now, those were some great
times, even in the later years he used to sing, my own kids have heard him sing.
My kids when they were younger used to hang out at Dad's house with Uncle Jerry,
they thought he was the greatest, he used to sit on floor and play with the
kids, sing to them, my son used to even try to box with him, those were some
great times, the tapes are funny to watch of him with them or us. Yes, Uncle
Jerry, and Dad, you both are very missed, and always will be loved.|

am concerned, Massimo, RS, and Fran add a touch of class to this site and when
we have strayed from the central topic of boxing it has been interesting.
Massimo - thanks for the info. Someone was saying something about steroids and
rumours of same. Hearing things like that about Mosley makes you start
suspecting everyone else. Mosley did seem to improve heaps last time, didn't he.
Kent - you gotta stop apologising for letting off steam. Koo Koo - you're losing
your touch. You haven't made me laugh for a while. |
