pleasant debates about sports and everyone laughed and poked good natured fun at
each other.All the recent debate is about politics and wars and
religion, and there is nothing good natured about it and we don't poke fun
anymore, we poke ridicule. Every time I read or watched the news there
was some idiot - usually the whining left wingers in my case (or the red necked
neocons in Gerry's world) - annoying the crap out of me (and Gerry). I couldn't
read a paper or watch tv without getting annoyed.I just want to go back
to reading the sports pages first and then having good natured fun and enjoyable
debates. Surely by now we're all out of insults.Now for more important
things. If Evander Holyfield gets badly hurt in fights ahead, the governing body
that lets him keep fighting should be charged with reckless endangerment. I love
Evander, but enough is enough. It's time for him to retire and enjoy his wealth
in relative good health (and with the parts of his ears that he still has left).

fight, it was so exciting ! Jimmy Ellis was very quick and skillfull, now I
understand how he beat Bonavena. As far as skills go Ellis was much better than
Bonavena. Ellis won narrowly the first round, the second was even, the third was
clearly for Joe and the fourth was a massacre.Joe Frazier was really
impressive, his left hook was harder than mine.|

this way: when you eat a bad shrimp in your spaghetti marinara, the eater later
has a certain reaction; however when schoolmarm rs posted on this site, it
caused a more immediate reaction. She "annoyed the crap" out of everyone. She

the first time i have been able to get back to the site to check the letters. i
was my mother's only child and with her death being so unexpected i have lived
the past three weeks on an emotional roller coaster. i want to thank each and
everyone of you for your prayers and support. i can not replace what my mom did
for the site or how she touched you all. but i know she loved to help everyone
and was happy to lend what she knew about her brothers to the site. i do not
know much about the fights except going to a few as a very young child. so i
know i will be of no help for you all. anyways my mom would love to see someone
pass this information on to her two grandchildren Peyton and Heiley my 2 and 3
yr old. (Peyton was my mom's best friend he is 3). anyways thank you once again

working the corner of Mr. Jimmy's son Eric along with Sonia at the Police
Athletic League (PAL) benefit. They sure had their hands full as Eric got his
lip cut and the referee was about to stop the fight in the third and final round
but the fight continued and Eric won. Everyone got through the fight in true
Quarry fashion as there is no quit in a Quarry.|
