live about ten miles from Anaheim and I am there quite often, two or three times
a week. In fact, I was just there Wednesday and will be there again Saturday
night. I wish you would have told me you were in town as I would have liked to
have met you in person.Next time you come to the area let me know in
advance and I will come see you.I was out of town last weekend but I
would have made a point to come back at least one day if I would have known you
were going to be here.Steve, even if I don't agree everytime, I still
think you have a lot of knowledge of the boxing game and that goes for Jimmy D,

read Tubby whats-his-name's posts of last September and they don't warrant the
venom you have towards him. Why did he upset you so much ? He obviously hit a
nerve. I also read some of your posts. Wow. You said that it makes you happy
that Ali is impaired, or words to that effect. I don't particularly like the guy
(particularly all that political and religious stuff), but I wouldn't wish him
or anyone else a brain injury. It intrigues me that on the one hand you enjoy
boxing so much that you go to Hall of Fame annual events, yet at the same time
you hate someone who did so much for boxing (whether or not you like Ali's
principles, etc). Your attitude is a real conumdrum, Mr Ward.|

fight ( 1907) of the great legendary Tommy Burns- Bill Squires trylogy. Tommy
was given 9-10 undercard as Bill was the Australian heavyweight championbut
still won by KO 1 knocking the hell out of Bill. Anyway, if Tommy Burns was a
heavyweight, then I' m a pivot ! Even Warren Coolidge ( 6' 8" ) was too short
for being a pivot ! |

Tony Galento And how he wrestled and killed an octopus. in an Seattle
Aquarium,although patrons said the octopus died from fright! Tony was also
sporting a hair piece, which in his own words "made him prettier" I remember all
those great Philly MIDDLEWEIGHTS Hagler,Monroe,Hart,Briscoe etc.Shemp if they
could have played for the Eagels, maybe they would forget BILLY KILMER!?|

fans at the VET!! I don't really even know how true the story was Kent, it was
out of 1969 Ring Magazine where I was reading on the Mathis-Quarry bout. And how
Nat Fleischer admitted how wrong he was about Quarry.I Liked old Galento thou,
and how much reach he had to give up,he was a natural as a bad guy in movies,And
a pretty damn good actor, from what i've heard,maybe he was just being himself!|
