interview with Ron Lyle. When asked about Jerry he said, "Jerry was a very
tough fighter. It was my first big fight in boxing and the first loss on my
record. He was not given enough credit in boxing and really was a legit fighter
in the ring. He had great combos with power who
wasn't a big guy but was in a big division. Bottom line:

everyone! Because of my medical condition I am moving again.After today, I
will be in Atascadero, Calif. This is on the central coast.I will be closer
to my family. So I will be off line for a few days. I'll postwhen I get back
on. May 5th, I go to Loma Linda Hosp. for a biopsy on the leftlung, and to
find out what stage the cancer is in. I have my fingers crossed.|

can.here's a fantasy fight i haven't seen anyone mention in or out of the
tourniment,hollyfield vs norton.one problem with matching up fighters from
different decades is that what a fighter could get away with has changed so much
over the years.for instance,dempsey standing over a floored fighter and hitting
as soon as he rises,alis'rope-a-dope,holding the back of a guys head,and formans
pushing,as he did constantly against frazier.|
