angles. Dead Parrots. Black Knights. The Japanese soldier in Borneo. The Battle
of the Undead in Australia. It's funny. Even 'Bird Seed' Steve was having a
laugh. Kent too. But not Forest.|
addressed the possibility that it was Shavers management in the 1974-75 period
who didn't want a fight with Frazier as they needed to rebuild him as a
contender after two losses, to Quarry and Stallings or the fact that it was
Ellis' last chance, Frazier two, while Shavers was still a good prospect for the
future that didn't need to be put in over his head too soon. The loss to
Quarry followed by the loss to journeyman Stallings clearly shows Shavers was
not ready yet for Frazier and when Shavers was ready, in 1976, Frazier was
essentially gone from the scene.|
that dark matter exists. If not, you couldn't understand how some clusters of
stars stay together and other things. Many physicists say that not only dark
matter exists, but it's more than 90% of the entire mass of the Universe!
Probably neutrino (now people propend to thinking that neutrino has a mass) and
WIMP (Weakly Interactive Massive Particles) are two good candides. As far as I
know Astrophysicists still change their minds very often on the issue whether
the Universe will expand forever or not. I have been listening either (or both)
versions since I got involved in Physics. I personally like better the small
problems in Physics than the "everything-problems". With the small problems, you
can create a mathematical theory, make a smart experiment and check if your
theory fits the results of your experiment. If it is so, you can be sure that
your theory works well and that you have really learnt something. On the other
hand, even if I certainly admit that the everything questions are fashinating,
there is always the risk of getting nowhere...PS: ah, I almost forgot, I
don't understand how an infinite Universe can be compatible with the Big Bang
amateur in New York in the mid-late 60's. He was actually thought to be a big-
time prospect. He didn't translate that well into the pro ranks. maybe he was
still a little young. He lost by TKO to Chuck Wepner in his 7th fight. He did
score a good knockout over prospect 17-0 Pedro Agosto. He ended up 9-2-2 7 KO's
and retired at the age of 20. I don't know how good he was, but I am not him on
this site or in reality. This will be my last denial of that fact, back to
boxing please.|
called me a homosexual and an alcoholic and a jailbird on posts dated 3/2/05,
and 3/3/05.I will say again as I said before you are projecting you own
deficiencies on me. Norm baby, I don't by your BS act for one moment. You and I
both know what you are made of.|
thought it was safe to come back, I see that Mrs Forrest Fandom-Ward is still
making ridiculous allegations. Oh well. I guess I'll get over it and so will
Noam. Jerry Quarry and Joe Frazier. Quarry was born in 1945 and Frazier
in 1944. They both turned professional in 1965. Consider the guys Quarry fought
that Frazier didn't: London (x 2), Patterson (x 2), Lyle, Shavers, Norton, and
Mac Foster. In the meantime, Frazier found time to be fighting Standers
and Daniels and Zyglewicz.Mac Foster fought from 1966 to 1976. Had 36
fights and won 30, all by ko. He was 6'3" tall, same height as
Foreman.By the end of 1967 Foster had had 9 fights, all wins by KO.
Frazier didn't fight him.By the end of 1968 Foster had had 16 fights,
all wins by KO. Frazier still didn't fight him. Instead in 1968 Frazier fought
Manuel Ramos. By then Ramos had had 29 fights for 21 wins (only 15 ko's), 6
losses, and 2 draws.By the end of 1969 Foster had 22 fights, all wins by
KO. Frazier still didn't fight him. He fought Dave Zyglewicz instead. Dave was
