fights and Jerry's style was similar to Gregorio Peralta's style, who gave
Foreman two very tough fights. Foreman was not fully developed as a fighter yet
and Peralta was vastly more experienced. Peralta probably wouldn't have been as
tough a fight for an in prime Foreman however, Jerry was a harder puncher than
Peralta and stonger. He would have had a chance agaisnt an in prime Foreman but
I would still favor George in this one.Foreman was not afraid of Jerry
at all he just didn't want to take a potentially tough fight, which I think a
fight with Jerry would have been, and risk even somewhat, a bigger money fight
with Ali. Foreman got the fight with Ali without having to fight Jerry, so why
risk the Ali fight?Massimo, Jerry was conned into taking the Cramner
fight by some people who said they were going to do a movie about his life
story. They told him he had to get into shape and they convinced him to take
tha fight. Jerry only got about 1,000 dollars for this fight. He paid a far
greater cost to his health than this small amount could ever add up to.|

"Conned" is almost like being tricked or swindled.These guys basically used
Jerry by misleading him into thinking that by taking the fight, it would lead to
big, money-making future endeavors. It's a classic case of leeches feeding off
someone else's reputation to make a buck---taking advantage of a good guy. Most
of the fans on this site would love a few minutes alone with these idiots to
give them an idea of what getting hit the head feels like. |

interviewers. After he was beaten by Ali, he said that he was drugged. Years
later he admitted that he had made this up. He had some sort of vision or
conversion after the Young fight and that was very dramatic, too. And more
