recently hit ( or hitten) his wife !I have read it on " TuttoSport", it was
a very short article. If you buy it there in Chicago, you" ll read it too. It's

Yes, this was in the Chicago Tribune this morning. There weren't a lot
of details, just that the 44 year old woman was the mother of his youngest son,
that she had facial injuries, and that JF was arrested, and awaiting arraignment
at police headquarters (where he was taken, rather than a local lockup, because
of his diabetes).Spousal, or significant other, abuse happens a lot, so
I suppose boxers aren't immune; there have been any number of reports/rumors
over the years of different fighters hitting and physically abusing their wives
or girlfriends. In an argument, I can see how things can get heated, but
the more capable the man is, the more cowardly it is to assault anyone,
particularly a woman. You're right. Maybe he isn't such a good guy, huh? |

true Joe Frazier assaulted a womam, then that is a big disappointment. I hope
it isn't true as Joe is a hero of mine. SAY IT AINT SO, JOE! But if it
is true, he needs to be treated the same as if he was a plumber or locksmith,
doctor, or whatever. The law should see no difference between celebrity

considerably different view of him, if the assault turns out to be legit. It
could be booze, as I believe Joe's had some other problems when likkered up. In
his book, he admits to some problems while drinking, and I've read some
newspaper clips too. Joe said, and I've read too, that he can really put it
away, or rather ~does~ put it away - drunk people always think they're more
competent than they are.When word gets out, celebs actually seem to be
treated ~more~ harshly and by the book, just to show everyone else that they
