it'll be that no matter how far they went in school. While the odds are that the
more education a person has, the more native intelligence they'll have, that's
just a matter of odds, and not a given. There are also people out there with
minimal education who are flat out brilliant - garbage men who dropped out of
high school who belong to Mensa, and so forth.BTW, the man who holds the
record as the "smartest" man in America, with a 195 IQ, is a biker, looks like a
porkchop, lives in a log cabin he built, and works as a bouncer. So...you never
can tell! Generally the smarter a person is, the more eccentric they'll be as
well. I think we've all seen that.|

That's pretty true. While we all enjoy our entertainers and athletes,
there's still a powerfully prevailing attitude that their gifts are trivial and
fringe talents, just accidental freak endowments, possessed by individuals with
little else of redeeming value as humans. Too bad. An interesting side
note is to consider the ghetto areas as modern day reservations. It's no secret
that in my own city of Chicago, the projects weren't necessrily constructed
with anyone's betterment in mind, but rather to isolate "undesireables." Even
the freeway systems in the city were built to further cut off blacks from
whites. I suspect this is not all that unusual in urban areas.It's a
ferocious vicious cycle. People in hopeless situations, viewed as animals,
flounder, and validate attitudes that placed them there to begin with because
"they're inferior," after all.It's going to take a long time for this to
begin to turn around. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. When they're judged as
simply beasts, any talents they might possess are seen as accidents of the gene
pool, yet in reality, if the same things were being observed happening with
white people, everyone would be oohing and ahhing all over the place, on the
ground floor of the emergence of accelerated evolution of the species human.|

of this racial controversy when she mentioned that there are people out there
with untaped athletic and intellectual potential.I remember hearing or reading
some sports pundit saying that there are probably thousands of white pro-caliber
athletes,fighters,ball players,who are stock brockers or construction workers.As
there are probably thousands of black mathematicians , docters,ect., who,
because of missed opportunity,are instead menial laborers.
