Thank you very much for your proposals, which should reassure the representative of Cuba and others
who have expressed their concerns on that point. I do not think there is any dissent here. Are there any more

Como Presidenta de la Comisión, deseo informar a la Mesa y las distinguidas delegaciones de que
muchas delegaciones, sobre todo de América Latina, se me han acercado para pedirme que intercediera ante la
Secretaría para que el Comité gozara también de servicio de traducción e interpretación en español, ya que no se
puede trabajar a fondo sobre un documento de esa naturaleza si falta la interpretación en un idioma que es
también lengua oficial de la Organización. Por lo tanto, suscribo y traslado ese sentir, y recomiendo que se
integre también la traducción e interpretación al español en los trabajos del Comité. Muchas gracias, señora
Presidenta.

En tant que Présidente de la Commission, je souhaite informer le Bureau et les délégués que de
nombreuses délégations, en particulier de l'Amérique latine, m'ont demandé d'intervenir auprès du Secrétariat pour
que le Comité bénéficie également de services de traduction et d'interprétation en espagnol car on ne peut pas
travailler de façon approfondie sur un document de cette nature sans interprétation dans une langue qui est
également langue officielle de l'Organisation. Par conséquent, j'approuve et je transmets cette demande, et je
recommande que la traduction et l'interprétation en espagnol soient prévues dans les travaux du Comité. Merci
beaucoup, Madame la Présidente.

Thank you very much for your proposal, Madam Chairperson. I think the point is well taken, and will be
looked at by the Secretariat - I am sure they will do their best to accommodate you in any way possible, to ensure
proper communication.
112.2 Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have reached the end of this discussion. You now have a proposed text
as amended by the representatives of Angola and the Central African Republic. Do we have consensus then on
the proposed text? Yes, the text, as amended, is adopted.
112.3 You will recall that I did say about an hour and a half ago that we were considering the report as a
whole. We have now spent quite a bit of time on this one item. May I now suggest that you consider taking note
of the report and approving the draft resolutions contained in it, as amended. Any questions or queries on this
point? I give the floor to the representative of Saint Lucia.

Thank you, Madam President. Are we including the addendum and corrigendum?

Yes, we are including the addendum and corrigendum. I do not see any other questions or queries.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you agree, I consider that the General Conference takes note of the report and adopts
the resolutions contained therein. Thank you very much. We will now adjourn until this afternoon, and we will
