Can we go along with this? So, I think that we are slowly reaching a stage where very soon I shall be
able to congratulate Mr Molnar on a very extensive and good report. We heard, of course, the remarks of South
American countries and we do take note of them - I am sure that the Director-General will also be acquainted
with the whole situation. Now we are coming to the point where the plenary takes note of the report of
Commission II, as amended, and approves the draft resolutions, with the exception of the text of the two
proposed resolutions in paragraphs 05100 and 05300, which were adopted, as amended, yesterday. I do not need
to repeat what I said, as I hear no objection. It is so decided. Congratulations, Mr Molnar. I see you wish to take
the floor.
28. Mr MOLNAR (Slovakia), Chairperson of Commission II:
Madam President, I would like to express my thanks to the members of the Commission steering
committee and to the delegates who worked with us during one week, for their spirit of responsibility and
cooperation. I would also like to express our thanks to the Deputy Director-General for Education, Mr Colin
Power, and to Mr Rissom who supported the Bureau of the Commission in an exemplary manner, and to the team
members of the Commission secretariat for their hard work, their professional efficiency and their high moral
qualities, which did not go unnoticed by the members of the Commission steering committee nor, I also hope, by
the delegates. Finally, Madam President, I would like to express my personal thanks to you for your guidance of
theConferenceasawhole.
