Graphene Oxide (GO) films exhibits an enhancement Raman scattering of
adsorbed dye molecules allowing better bands identification. This enrichment is
associated mainly to a chemical enhancing and/or a photoluminescence
quenching mechanism. Several works reported relative intensity variations of
Raman signatures of organic molecules depending on the GO thickness or
reduction degree. Many kinds of GO reduction process have been developed,
however, laser photoreduction has advantage to generate defined patterns. In
this work several reduced areas will be generated in GO deposited on
hydrophilic Si/SiO2 substrates using an 800 nm femtosecond laser. The GERS
effect is analyzed in RhB molecules adsorbed by GO films immersion in an
aqueous solution. Simultaneous noncontact AFM and Raman mapping studies
were performed in areas around 100 μm 2 . We achieved a detailed spectral
deconvolution and maps of intensity, width and central position shift of different
Raman bands of RhB and G-D bands ratio variations.
