POLYMER NETWORKS CONTAINING POLY(IONIC LIQUIDS)<br />

[2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium (MTMA) monomer can be<br />

copolymerized with other acrylic monomers. This monomer is a precursor for<br />

ionic liquids and more specifically for poly(ionic liquids) or PILs. This job is<br />

focused on generate polymer networks using this monomer with 2-<br />

hydroxyethylene methacrylate (HEMA) and ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate<br />

(EGDMA) and containing inside the network a polymer dispersión of poly(acrylic<br />

acid) as counter ion. These PILs inside these polymer networks are used as<br />

electrolytes in flexible rechargeable organic batteries. We evaluate the<br />

behaviour and charge obtained these materials changing the amount of EGDMA<br />

and MTMA.<br />
