The detection of electroluminescence is a common technique for characterizing
defects in solar cells. However, cameras that are regularly used for this purpose
are expensive. This paper presents a technique in which electroluminescence
can be visualized using a low-cost regular camera with a video algorithm called
Eulerian Video Amplification and modulated-current reverse bias.
