A solar concentrator, is a device that concentrates the energy of the sun in a
point called focus to take advantage of this useful heat.
In this work presents a parabolic concentrator of exposed focus applied to a
solar stove using a parabola and mirrors placed carefully covering all the
surface; with previous calculations to be able to obtain the greater solar
concentration in a point and the possible stray minor, once done this added
removable accessories to the base of the concentrator that consist of a grill to
place pots and frying pans, a flat plate of domestic use and a wand that use like
roaster, joined up to an engine fed by a photovoltaic signpost of 6 W to do it
functional and appeal in case to proceed to a phase of commercialization.
They realized evaluations in the “INSTITUTO DE INVESTIGACION E INNOVACION
EN ENERGIAS RENOVABLES-UNICACH” where reached a temperature of 300°C
in the focus of the parabola that was apt for the time cooking of 100g of meat in
20 minutes, in comparison to a conventional stove of gas, to which carries him
roughly 10 minutes bake it.
