The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the last 15
years has reached a peak never seen before. With the application of this kind of
technology everyone is able transmit an idea, emotion or knowledge to any
people to a group instantly. Although most of the time it is used for recreation
and entertainment, discarding the fact that it can be used to learn. One of the
causes of the limited use of ICTs within the institution is mainly due to the back
of interest showed by the recturer and the virtually null adaptation of the new
generations. If the recturer in able to adopt new technologies for the distribution
of information, this could the students to learn easily. So, the objective of this
work is to publicize the correct use of the ICTs to promote the collective
knowledge of teacher and science students inside the Instituto Politécnico
Nacional. There will additionally, promote the development of virtual
environments where students, graduates and teachers share their experiences
and knowledge on science and technology issues. A better distribution of
information could be achieved increasing the collective knowledge, as well as
their participation of their on discussions related to the topics of interest. In this
way, they will not only learn what is being taught at the school, students would
have a better understanding of the working environment at science activity,
which will depend of the area of interest of each students. Increasing the
knowledge, so that, any people in the group could face current problems that
should be solved during the academic life, proposing different ways of solving a
problem by having an interaction with people with different skills and
knowledge which use those virtual environments.
