STRUCTURAL AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF TERNARY<br />

TRANSITION METAL ANTIMONIDE Bi-Sb-Fe<br />

Transition-metal antimonides are promising candidates for the development of<br />

a new generation of materials because some of them combine interesting<br />

physical properties: electronic and magnetic phenomena. This class of<br />

materials are considered as topological insulators.<br />

The structural, electronic, and magnetic properties of Bi_1-x Sb_x and varying<br />

amounts of Fe were investigated to analyze the impact of the inclusion material<br />

on evolution of physical properties. Bulk samples were synthesized by solid<br />

state reaction. Structural characterization was confirmed by XRD at room<br />

temperature.<br />
