The naonopartículas (NPs) have demonstrated that they have a great amount of
applications. The colloidal method can form stable dispersions for very long
periods of time. The advantage of using the colloidal method lies in the uses of
various reducers, such as sodium citrate, sodium thiocyanate, sodium
borohydride and others. A new trend in the synthesis of nanometer-scale
materials known as green synthesis. Elements such as flowers and fruits are
good alternatives for their content of ascorbic acid, an element used as a
reducing agent in the synthesis of NP. In this work, Ag NPs were obtained by
Green chemistry. Green and Cilantro. As a reducing agent. The reducers are
characterized by infrared (IR) spectroscopy for the determination of functional
groups. Subsequently, the Ag NPs were synthesized by green chemistry and
characterized by UV-Vis obtaining the surface plasmon resonance at 430 nm and
465 nm. And its size and distribution by scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
presenting a hemispherical shape and with a distribution of between 35 and 75
nm. This results in the synthesis of Ag Nps by means of a green method and it
was possible to determine by IR the possible presence of ascorbic acid for the
synthesis of NPs, as well as a distribution and size of Ag NPs by SEM.
