This talk will be focused to describe the overalll characteristics about cobalt
promoted Molybdenum Di-Sulfide catalytic material, mainly for the purpose of
HDS reactions. The data as presented in here, is based on catalytic test in batch
reactor for DBT-testing molecule, along with extensive characterization using
HRTEM and other techniques including computer asisted Density Functional
Theory methods. Our results indicate that electronic states can change
depending of final shape (i.e. nanotubes, spheres, layered clusters, etc.) of
Co/MoS 2 catalytic material, indicating a shape dependent on that versatile
material.
