charges more homogeneously and the electric double layer formed on the
positively charged polymer surface, which does not allow the approach of
bivalent calcium ions towards the cationic polymer surface, forming salts
between the polymer and calcium ions, which causes intra-molecular
associations leading the viscosity of the polymer solution to an abrupt decrease,
which was observed in the SAV polymer example.
