prolonged release of the drug, enhancing the burst release process and<br />

providing a slower release of the residual bulkier drug.<br />

The KETO contained in MCF was weakly retained for the effective encapsulation<br />

and controlled release of drug, attaining the required therapeutic ability. The<br />

predominant release of KETO MCF was non-Fickian diffusion and the data<br />

obtained exhibited a better fit to Ritger-Peppas model.<br />
