structures, hence electrons can also emit these protrusive regions in which there<br />

exists a higher field enhancement. Moreover, the benefit of these<br />

nanostructures with good FEE properties on exciting the Ar plasma in a<br />

microplasma device with parallel-plate configuration is demonstrated.<br />
