DESIGN OF AN ANNULAR CONICAL CALIBER FOR THE DEFECTION<br />

OF CONICAL SURFACES OF PINIONS IN GEAR BOXES<br />

It is made a study of the structural parameters established in the letter of the<br />

specifications for the defection and repair of the pieces in heavy equipment with<br />

mats, from a sample of pinions of the driving shaft of the considered gear box<br />

of remainder. The previous calculation of the dimensions of the caliber from the<br />

dimensions of the piece takes place to control. The dimensions limits of the<br />

piece to control and the geometric parameters of design for the manufacture of<br />

the annular conical caliber from the indicators established in NC 16-04 are<br />

determined. The basic project document (Flat of Piece) of the caliber, applicable<br />

in the defection of the conical surfaces of pinions during the complete overhaul<br />

of the aggregate is elaborated. The suitable material, its hardness and the<br />

finished one of the surface of work of the caliber are selected. Material that was<br />

selected for caliber was carbon steel for tools. The computational model in 3D<br />

obtained from the calculation of the geometric parameters, as well as, the<br />

simulation of the principle of operation of the calibre are shown.<br />
