were used, which contains the programming of the control, registration and
monitoring in real time of data. It is important to highlight that this type of
controllers is not limited to WWTP, but they can also be applied in any other
processes where environments have to be regulated due to the existence of
adverse conditions such as corrosion, contamination in water supplies, harmful
gases in the air, etc. Also, this control system could be extrapolated for the
measurement of harmful agents, such as gases, toxins, viruses or radiation, both
in the air and in water, depending on the technology of the sensors needed,
based on novel nanomaterials, biomaterials, and composite materials.
