PENTOXIDE FILM TANDEM AS SOLAR SELECTIVE ABSORBER FOR<br />

CONCENTRATING SOLAR POWER TECNOLOGY<br />

The selective solar absorber materials are very important for the efficient<br />

development of concentrating solar power technologies. Herein, we present a<br />

tandem of a nanostructured film of vanadium pentoxide on anodized<br />

aluminum. The nanostructured film of vanadium pentoxide has a<br />

thermochromic behavior that increases the absorption range of the solar<br />

spectrum at temperatures above 200 ° C. The material is stable at high<br />

temperatures and was synthesized by spray pyrolysis, which is a simple and fast<br />

method.<br />
