which resulted in a decreased εrev with increasing MNP content, was observed.<br />

The value of εrev was decreased from 8.2±0.2 % for H-NC5 with 5 wt% MNP to<br />

3.2±0.3% for H-NC11 with 11 wt% of MNP. The results show that the<br />

performance of these H-NCs in terms of thermal and elastic properties can be<br />

tailored by MNP content, however for higher actuation capability, lower MNP<br />

content are preferable.<br />
