– Course-related documents and data (e.g. project contract, plans, reports, etc.) can be
deposited in an index which is organized along the lines of the structure of project ma-
nagement activities.
– The structure of results-oriented documents and data should be organized along the lines
of the respective type of project.
– For each foreseen and produced project result, a sub-directory should be included for
drafts.
– A private index should be established for each project team member (including project
manager) which can be individually subdivided.

Instead of a file server, a knowledge database can be used; the structure, however, remains the
same. Results-oriented project documentation should be in adherence to the structure of the proj-
ect breakdown. The final documentation for the client can be produced from these in the project
completion phase. Course-oriented project documentation should be in adherence to the struc-
ture of the project breakdown. The recommended index can be further subdivided depending
