Tina Klein
PROF. TINA KLEIN, PHD
Currently, Tina Klein is researching innovation leader-
ship, building global connections, and creating study trip
modules for international students focused on innovation
and entrepreneurship.
She is a faculty member at UC San Diego's Rady School
of Management and at Steinbeis University Berlin's SIBE.
Formerly, she taught at MIT’s Sloan School of Manage-
ment, USC’s Marshall School of Business, and UCLA’s
Anderson Graduate School of Management. She com-
mands a breadth of marketing topics, including marketing
management, marketing research, sales, and internati-
onal marketing. Klein also enjoys her role as executive
educator, teaching students in the US and Europe.
She has published numerous academic articles on cross-
cultural issues and is particularly interested in consumers
behaving »irrationally.«
Previously, she was a Fulbright Scholar in Berlin, Germa-
ny. While there, Klein also served as an interpreter and
translator. She relished her time as a foreign correspon-
dent for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution during the fall of
the Berlin Wall.
Klein holds a doctorate from the University of California,
Irvine, in International Marketing. Her undergraduate de-
grees are in Economics and German Literature (Honors)
from Scripps College. She speaks English and German
natively and travel zealously.
