1628 LA/Dy.LA from the concerned department on receipt of the dispute from the office of the Charity Commissioner. After collecting the necessary information/instructions from the respective department, the Written Statement is prepared and filed before the Charity Commissioner. All other pleadings like Affidavits in reply and counter affidavits are prepared by LA/Dy.LA and after the same are approved by AGM(L) the same are filed before the Charity Commissioner. The matter is conducted by the Dy.LA/LA and after finalization of the case and on receipt of the orders, the papers are sent back to the concerned department, and our case papers are sent to the section in charge for filing. In case the matter is decided against the Undertaking, sanction of the GM is obtained to adopt further proceedings on receipt of the sanction, a forwarding letter on facts and law is sent to the Attorneys who prepare the case on behalf of the Undertaking after having a conference with the concerned officers and counsel. The draft of the case as prepared by the Attorneys is scrutinized and finalized by the Dy.LA/LA and sent back to the Attorneys for engrossment and filing in court. The Sr.AL who assists Dy.LA/LA in the matters before the Charity Commissioner correspondence with the concerned
1629 department for any additional information/documents and arranges for the attendance of the department’s officers to assist Dy.LA/LA. GROUP - `H’ OTHER STATUTORY AUTHORITIES – a) Commissioner of Sales Tax/Central Excise, etc. : The cases of sales tax and excise matters are handled by the departments concerned with the assistance of Tax Consultant. The Legal Department gives assistance when required. The Officers of the Legal Department appear before the Authorities if occasion arises. b) Family Court : Some times the Undertaking is required to give information and make its representation before the Family Court in the matrimonial matters of the employees. Procedure : Whenever a notice is received from the Family Court, it shall be put to DyLA who shall collect information from the department concerned and draft reply shall be approved by AGM(L).
