the delinquent/suspected employees of Electric Supply and Stores Dept.
ii) keep vigil on line to detect/apprehend culprits indulging in pilferage of
fitments from the Undertaking's buses.
iii) the SSO(ES / City zone) shall keep vigil to detect and apprehend culprits
stealing from various sub-stations.
iv) keep vigil on employees suspected of indulging in punching by proxy,
absenting from place of work, money lending and various irregularities.
v) maintain close liaison with all the heads of other departments in the matter of
security of Undertaking's properties.
vi) keep themselves posted about the activities of various Unions and
communicate impending actions proposed to be taken to Dy CSVO/ Dy
CSOs/CSVO.
vii) undertake confidential enquiries entrusted to them.
77. Assistance to Other Departments:
They shall, provide protection:
A i) to Building Dept. staff in cases of demolition of hutments, removal
encroachment, and guarding of vacant plots, Eviction of tenements .
ii) Trans. Engg. dept. to attend to buses rendered immobile during
strikes/bandhs./Civil Distributors
iii) Traffic Dept. to protect over night damaged buses, chowkies and
shelters.
B. SSO (ES/ City) shall provide protection :
i) To Electric supply branch in cases of theft of electricity/
unauthorized extensions.
ii) To Cash Counter Clerks stranded during bandhs/civil disturbances.
