8. INSECTICIDE TREATMENT :
In order to eradicate the nuisance of mosquitoes and
other pests at various premises of the Undertaking, the
insecticide treatment contracts are awarded for rendering
insecticide/fogging treatment every year to the Brihan
Mumbai Mahanagarpalika. Total 106 installations/premises
are covered under the Insecticide treatment contract at
present.
PROCEDURE OF AWARDING OF INSECTICIDE
TREATMENT CONTRACT TO BMC :
In order to combat mosquito nuisance, flies nuisance
and to maintain hygienic condition at various premises of
the Undertaking, such as Bus Depots/Bus Station,
Workshops, staff/officers quarters,
cash receiving centers etc. the contract for rendering
Insecticide treatment at these places is awarded every year
to the Insecticide Branch of the MCGM.
