accounts by New Account Section of Consumer
Department.

This system also generates various periodical reports like;
(i) L.V. load connected
(ii) M.P. load conntected
(iii) Pump load connected
(iv) Load greater than 25 KW
(v) Various MIS reports
Connection order is one of the major input to billing system. Through
this system connection order data is being sent to EDP Department.
Backbay on magnetic media for updating EDP Department’s database.
This system is implemented in all the wards of the Commercial
Department.
e. Fuse Control System :-
This system is used in various Fuse Control sections of
Commercial Departments for recording fuse message details.
This system uses consumer and meter information data base
transferred from EDP Department, Backbay through CIS. There
is one more part of fuse control system in which the timings of
fuse messages received and attended are recorded and incentive
bonus of fuseman is calculated.
f. Stop Meter and Meter Removal Advice System :-
A system is designed to generate Stop Meter (SM) slips and
Meter Removal Advice (MRA). This is implemented in all the
ward offices of Commercial Departments.
g. The work of Vigilance Department of the Electric Supply Branch
is computerised.
h. On Line detailed billing data System
This system is developed to view all biiling details including
ledger details at EDP Department, Backbay Depot. The data for
