ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS :
For the smooth and efficient functioning the activities
of this Department are divided in the sub groups as follows
:-
Sub-Groups of the Welfare Department :
A) Establishment Section
B) Administration Section
C) Colaba Zonal Section for arrangements of various functions, meetings,
seminars & cleaning work of Colaba Depot
D) Hospitalisation Section at Wadala Depot
The works pertaining to these sub groups are as under :
A) Establishment Section
1. Proposals pertaining to staff i.e. Promotions, transfers, appointment, monthly
statements.
2. Proposals pertaining to imprest cash, sanctions for expenditure for various
functions, post facto sanction, other information as Annual requirements of
Stationery, Diaries, and Purchases.
3. Proposal in respect of Personal Promotions, Validity Certificates,
4. Seniority lists, information to be furnished to various Departments,
5. Budget estimates, Administration Report, Proposals in respect of variation in
the Establishment Schedule, Special funds.
B) Administration Section
1. Proposals in respect of Purchases of various furniture for Barbershops,
Ladies Rooms, Libraries at 25 Depots and
