On the death of a member before the amount standing to his credit has
become payable, or where the amount has become payable before payment has
been made:-
(1) The amount is paid to his nominee/nominees, if the member in accordance
with the rules has made a nomination and the nomination is valid.
(2) If there is no such nominee or if the nomination relates to a part of the
amount standing to his credit in the Fund, the whole amount or part thereof
to which the nomination does not relate, is paid to the members of his family
in equal shares, subject to the rules for the time being in existence.
(3) In any case to which the provision of Clause (1) and (2) do not apply, the
whole amount is paid to the person legally entitled to it.

Payment on Termination of service other than by death:-
On termination of his service with the Undertaking, a member is entitled
(1) The amount standing to his credit in the books of the Fund in respect of his
own contributions and interest thereon to the end of the month preceding the
date of authorization of payment and
(2) The amount in respect of the Committee’s contributions payable to him on
termination of his service, with interest thereon to the end of the month
preceding the date of authorization of payment, subject to such rules for the
time – being in force.
