atualidade? De que forma? Diante dos questionamentos supracitados se intenta<br />

desenvolver o presente trabalho, a fim de trazer à tona as principais ideias do filósofo<br />

Walter Benjamin acerca da narrativa desenvolvidas na obra Magia e Técnica, Arte e<br />

Política, especificamente em O narrador, assim como, a obra A Metamorfosede Franz<br />

Kafka. Longe de se estabelecer definições, o que se objetiva ainda, é colocar em voga<br />

reflexões que permitam interpretações da realidade, evidenciando assim o exercício do<br />

filosofar.<br />

ABSTRACT: The present research intends to study the impacts that the advent of the<br />

technique provides the society, signaling the transformations that have consolid<strong>ate</strong>d and<br />

contribute in a vehement way to the process of individualization so requested by the<br />

human being in the contemporary world. Methodology makes use of Bibliographic<br />

Research, in order to highlight the ideas of the authors and how they become more and<br />

more current. The discussion of the work revolves around the end of the narrative in<br />

Benjamin, carried by the rise of technique, as well as the pre-figuration of the<br />

contemporary individual marked by the destitution of his identity so visible in Kafka's<br />

work. Walter Benjamin, a German Jewish philosopher, points to the arrival of<br />

modernity and all its apparatuses as a path to the decline of the narrative, since, as in<br />

productive relations, social relations have become individualized, favoring an ever<br />

gre<strong>ate</strong>r reduction of the transfer of experiences that occurred through this contact. For<br />

Benjamin to neglect the sharing of the collective experience, it is a matter of deeply<br />

penetrating the narrative resource and consequently the construction of history. With the<br />

absence of the exchange of experiences dissemin<strong>ate</strong>d by the narrative, and consequent<br />

loss of references, the present man finds himself in a deep isolation that directly affects<br />
