Abstract
The Oscar Awards gala is a good example of organization and coordination of personal, spatial and
temporal characteristics of international events, as well as Protocol and Ceremonial rules concerning
the specialist Public relations. Learn how to design and develop this kind of gala helps to understand
the importance gained as a generator of trends for other special events they see in it the mirror to
emulate. The scenery, decorations, props, fashion and accessories (male and female, etc.) are studied
millimeter items for the ceremony to acquire standards of quality and distinction because we are in a
media staging, followed by millions of viewers around the world where there is no room for
mistakes. Despite the care taken in its organization, it should be noted that this ceremony will also
produce unexpected moments and surprises that break the protocol and become uncomfortable or
violent situations, both for guests such as organization and spectators. Knowing these situations
serves to address or avoid that may occur when this kind of public events are being developed.

Introducción
El texto se centra en las relaciones públicas especializadas, más concretamente en el
protocolo ceremonial, centradas en el evento de la ceremonia de entrega de premios
cinematográficos. El objetivo principal es analizar las tendencias, predecir consecuencias,
asesorar y aplicar programas planificados de acción que sirven tanto a la organización como al
público de estos eventos. Los resultados que presentamos corresponden a una parte de una
investigación más amplia sobre las relaciones públicas especializadas, protocolo y ceremonial
en eventos cinematográficos.
Objetivos
Analizar las tendencias en el uso de las relaciones públicas especializadas aplicadas al campo
cinematográfico centradas en los Premios Oscar de la Academia Cinematográfica Americana,
