ABORT DAT-LINE:<br />

1. Enter status data-module to determine the service state of the port.<br />

If the port is in use, wait until it is idle before testing.<br />

2. Retry the command at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

DID-DS1, TIE-DS1, and TIE-TRK:<br />

1. Enter display port location to determine the trunk group/member<br />

number of the port.<br />

2. Enter status trunk to determine the service state of the port. If the<br />

port is in use, wait until it is idle before testing.<br />

3. If the port status is active but the port is idle (no calls), enter display<br />

errors and check the error log for Error Type 1025. If this error exists,<br />

see the error log table for a description of this error and required actions<br />

for the appropriate maintenance object (DID-DS1 (Direct Inward Dial<br />

Trunk), TIE-DS1 (DS1 Tie Trunk), or TIE-TRK (Analog Tie Trunk). The<br />

port may be locked up.<br />

4. If the port status is idle, busyout and release the trunk, and retry the<br />

command at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

DID-TRK:<br />

1. Enter display port location to determine the station extension,<br />

attendant number, or trunk group/member number of the port.<br />

2. Enter status station, status attendant, or status trunk to<br />

determine the service state of the port. If the port is in use, wait until it is<br />

idle before testing. Attendants are always in use (off-hook) if the handset<br />

is plugged in and the port is not busied out.<br />

3. If the port status is active but the port is idle (no calls), enter display<br />

errors and check the Error Log for Error Type 513. The port may be<br />

locked up.<br />

4. If the port status is idle, retry the command at 1-minute intervals up to 5<br />

times.<br />

DIOD-TRK and ISDN-TRK:<br />

1. Enter display port location to determine the trunk group/member<br />

number of the port.<br />

2. Enter status trunk to determine the service state of the port. If the<br />

port is in use, wait until it is idle before testing.<br />

3. Retry the command at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />
