ATM-EI-Related Commands<br />

The following commands can be helpful in resolving ATM-EI problems:<br />

Replacing an ATM-EI Circuit Pack<br />

Standard Reliability<br />

1. Enter busyout atm pn# (this is service-affecting) on the SAT.<br />

2. Replace the ATM PNC circuit pack, and reconnect the fiber.<br />

3. Enter release atm pnc.<br />

4. Wait 2½ minutes for board insertion.<br />

5. Enter list sys-link to verify that the links are up.<br />

6. Enter test board location, and verify that every test passes.<br />

Duplex or High Reliability<br />

There is 1 ATM-EI circuit pack in each PN.<br />

1. Enter busyout atm pnc # on the SAT.<br />

Note: If<br />

add atm pnc list measurements atm<br />

busyout/release atm pnc remove atm pnc<br />

busyout/release board reset board<br />

change atm pnc (pnc duplication) status atm pnc<br />

display atm pnc status cabinet<br />

list atm oam-statistics status port-network<br />

list atm pnc test board<br />

Note:<br />

the ATM-EI is in a PN, this is service-affecting.<br />

2. Replace the circuit pack.<br />

3. Enter release atm pnc.<br />

4. Wait 2½ minutes for board insertion.<br />

5. Enter list sys-link to verify that the links are up.<br />

6. Enter test board location, and verify that every test passes.<br />
