Description / Recommendation<br />

FAIL The NPE of the tested port is transmitting in error. This causes noisy<br />

and unreliable connections.<br />

M/T-ANL and M/T-DIG:<br />

1. If the remaining ports are currently idle (amber LED is off), try to<br />

reset the circuit pack and rerun the test.<br />

2. If the problem persists, replace the circuit pack.<br />

All other Maintenance Objects:<br />

Error code 1 = Crosstalk test failed on the primary channel.<br />

Error code 2 = Crosstalk test failed on the secondary channel.<br />

1. Replace the circuit pack.<br />

CAUTION: ADX8D-PT<br />

! CAUTION:<br />

and ADX16D-P: Shut down AUDIX before<br />

replacing the EMBEDDED AUDIX circuit pack.<br />

PASS The port is using its allocated time slots correctly.<br />

1. To ensure that this is not an intermittent problem, repeat this test up<br />

to 10 times and see if it continues to pass.<br />

2. If the problem still exists, examine the stations, connections, and<br />

wiring.<br />
