ASAI Link Status Test (#1365)<br />

This tests queries the system for the state of the TCP Tunnel Connection and the ASAI TCP/IP<br />

link. If both the TCP Tunnel Connection and the ASAI TCP/IP Link are in the "established" state,<br />

the test passes. The test fails otherwise. This test is run on ADJ-IP (ASAI Adjunct TCP/IP Link).<br />

2500 ABORT Internal system error.<br />

1. Retry the command at 1-minute intervals up to 5 times.<br />

2. If the test continues to abort, escalate the problem.<br />

1 FAIL The ASAI Adjunct TCP/IP Link is down. The TCP Tunnel Connection is<br />

established but the ASAI TCP/IP Link is not established.<br />

1. Use the ping command with the IP address for the Remote Node as<br />

specified on the ip-services form.<br />

2. If no response is received, check the entry for the local node on the<br />

ip-services form. If the entry is clanX, where X is the board number,<br />

refer to the maintenance procedures for CLAN-BD (Control LAN<br />

Circuit Pack) to clear the problem.<br />

3. If the test continues to fail, escalate the problem.<br />

4 FAIL The ASAI Adjunct Link is down. The ASAI Adjunct Link is established but<br />

the TCP Tunnel Connection is not established.<br />

1. Check the entry for the local node on the ip-services form. If the<br />

entry is clanX, where X is the board number, refer to the maintenance<br />

procedures for CLAN-BD (Control LAN Circuit Pack) to clear the<br />

problem.<br />

2. If the test continues to fail, escalate the problem.<br />

PASS The ASAI Adjunct TCP/IP Link is up. The ASAI TCP/IP Link and the TCP<br />

Tunnel Connection are both "established".<br />
