Cause Value 19<br />

User alerting no answer<br />

The remote device returned an alerting [ringing] indication but did not provide a connect<br />

indication within the period of time prescribed by timer T301.<br />

Communication Manager never originates this Cause Value.<br />

Troubleshooting<br />

Wait and retry the call later.<br />

Cause Value 20<br />

[0x14/0x94] -<br />

Subscriber absent [wireless networks]<br />

The mobile remote device/endpoint is not available.<br />

Troubleshooting<br />

Wait and try the call again later.<br />

Cause Value 21<br />

[0x15/0x95] -<br />

Call rejected<br />

The remote endpoint did not accept this call, even though the equipment is neither busy nor<br />

incompatible and it could have accepted the call.<br />

Check the diagnostic information (DIAG) for the user-supplied condition for why the call was<br />

rejected. See Cause Values and their meanings/interpretations on page 151.<br />

Cause Value 22<br />

[0x16/0x96] -<br />

Number changed<br />

The called party number was changed to a new number.<br />

Cause Value 01 appears if the ISDN network does not support Cause Value 22.<br />

A BRI or Adjunct Switch Application Interface (ASAI) application might generate Cause Value<br />

22. Communication Manager does not originate Cause Value 22 for PRI.<br />

This Cause Value has end-to-end significance and should always be passed back through the<br />

network to the user.<br />
